The sands of Arrakis are shifting once again with the arrival of the massive 1.4 update for Dune: Awakening. Self-Hosted Servers Arrive
One of the most requested features is finally here: self-hosted servers.
Players can now host their own persistent Dune: Awakening worlds directly from their machines through the Experimental server browser tab. This opens the door for private communities, custom roleplay experiences, and controlled PvP environments.

Combat balance also received attention. The Experimental Lightning Gun has been rebalanced after firing more shots than intended, ensuring it remains powerful without dominating every encounter.
