Prescriptions of the Past is a core exploration quest in ARC Raiders, offered by the NPC trader Lance. It serves as a key mid-game task in Lance's quest chain, connecting earlier story content to subsequent follow-up missions. This simple yet vital quest tasks players with locating hidden medical records within the Spaceport map, requiring careful navigation and basic survival awareness.Unlike combat-focused missions, this quest prioritizes exploration. Quest Prerequisites
Before players can accept Prescriptions of the Past, they must first finish the prerequisite quest titled A Warm Place to Rest. This prior mission must be fully completed and turned in to Lance to unlock the new quest dialogue.
Once the prerequisite is done, return to Lance to claim Prescriptions of the Past. The quest activates immediately, with all objectives set on the Spaceport map, one of the most frequently visited and high-traffic areas in ARC Raiders.
Step-by-Step Quest Walkthrough
1. Deploy to the Spaceport Map
Start by launching a match on the Spaceport map. For optimal movement, equip a lightweight and mobile loadout. Heavy weapons and bulky gear will slow down navigation through tight indoor corridors, increasing your risk of being ambushed.
2. Locate the Departure Building
Your first official objective is to reach the Departure Building, a prominent structure west of the central Launch Towers on the Spaceport map. The easiest entry point is the side door facing the nearest extraction zone. This entrance leads directly to the internal stairwell and avoids crowded main lobby areas.
3. Access the Upper Floor Medical Area
Enter the building and head straight for the internal stairs. Climb to the upper level and follow the main hallway toward the clustered medical rooms. This upper floor is the designated zone for all remaining quest objectives.
Be cautious here, as many players camp this upper level for its elevated sightlines over building entrances. Listen for footsteps and gunfire to avoid unexpected encounters.
4. Find and Search the Medical Exam Room
Locate the marked Medical Exam Room within the medical cluster. Step inside and move toward the front desk area. You will find a set of highlighted medical record folders on the desk.
Interact with the highlighted records to complete the cheap ARC Raiders Materials core quest objective. No additional puzzles or hidden steps are required. The quest progress will update instantly once the records are collected.
